Phyllis Ann (Harms) Jurgenson was born January 11, 1944, at Canby, Minnesota, to parents John and Donna (Johnson) Harms. She attended Country School #66 and graduated with the Class of 1961 at Canby High School. Phyllis married Howard Jurgenson of Clarkfield, Minnesota, on June 19, 1965. They were the parents of two children, a son Troy, and a daughter Tammy. Phyllis and "Howie" made their home in Clarkfield where she worked for many years at the Clarkfield Care Center as a T.M.A. She was a member of the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. She loved crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Phyllis passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Minnesota, on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 3 days. She is survived by her husband, Howie of Clarkfield; her son Troy and Jaci (Geurtz) Jurgenson of St. Charles, Minnesota; daughter Tammy (and Stacy) Mortenson of Montevideo, Minnesota; and four grandchildren: Justin and Meghan Mortenson and Jaden and Nolan Jurgenson. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Gladys Jurgenson of Clarkfield; brother Don (and Carol) Harms of Cottonwood, Minnesota; sister Janet Quenemoen of Clarkfield; brother Bob (and Carol) Harms of Clarkfield; plus many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Donna Harms; her father-in-law Arden Jurgenson; and her brothers-in-law Russell Quenemoen, and Larry and Roland Jurgenson. Blessed be her memory.
