Peter Torgerson was born April 13, 1891, in Sandnes Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Paul Torgerson and Guro "Julia" (Myrum) Torgerson. He passed away January 8, 1956, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 64 years. Mr. Torgerson was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ole and brother, Olia, who passed away January 4, 1956; three sisters: Mrs. Fred Nelson, Mrs. Oscar Swenson and Mrs. Walter Swenson.
