Peter Cornelius Stevens was born December 12, 1872, in Sandnes Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Jens "James" J. Stevens and Anna D. Barnson Stevens. He passed away February 11, 1953, at the Madison Hospital, Madison, Minnesota, at the age of 80 years. Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Maude Brown Stevens on March 6, 1922.
