Peter Rodseth was born to Hans and Johanna (Eidem) Rodseth on June 24, 1901, in Borgund Parish, Norway. He was baptized in the same parish by Rev. Halversen. He came to the Clarkfield, Minnesota community in 1912 with his widowed mother and made his home with his uncle, P.C. Eidem. He was confirmed in Israel Church by Rev. Eastvold in 1915. On January 2, 1929, he was united in marriage to Helen Helzen and they made their home on their farm southwest of Clarkfield. Death came suddenly on July 24, 1953, at the age of 52 years and one month. He was preceded in death by his father in 1903 and his mother in 1925. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife and two brothers, Ole of Chicago, Illinois, and Orlean in Norway, and his uncle P.C. Eidem, and friends. His friendly disposition and willingness to help endeared him to many and he will be greatly missed in the Clarkfield community.
