Peggy Ann Waller was born to Oscar Jr. and Phyllis (Berg) Waller in Clarkfield, Minnesota on March 16, 1954. She grew up on a nearby farm and was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. After attending Clarkfield High School, she obtained her RN degree from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. A natural caregiver, she worked as a nurse for over 40 years, specializing in psychiatrics, and most recently as a home health nurse, which brought her great fulfillment.

Her true passion and gift was for antiques. What started as casual collecting quickly became her primary career. She loved the thrill of treasure hunting and you could often find her 'junking' at local thrift shops. She had a knack for selling her finds and was told on many occasions that she 'could sell ice to an Eskimo.' She established herself as a recognizable name within the antiques community, specializing in vintage clothing, handbags, jewelry and buttons. She loved doing shows throughout Minnesota and had various antiques businesses through the years. She had impeccable taste and style, from designing multiple movie sets to making a hat, scarf or boa look effortless and chic.

Peggy resided in Northeast Minneapolis for most of her adult life, where she raised her two children, Heather and Jared. She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Alex, Lucas, Mia, Devon, Max, Gino and Camden, who were her pride and joy. She loved music and performing arts, especially listening to live music and singing karaoke with friends. She adored her Shar-Pei dogs and had several beloved pets throughout her life. Peggy had a passion for travel and cherished her trips to Paris, France, her favorite destination. She was creative, compassionate, patient, caring, and strong-willed. She had a big presence wherever she went and will be greatly missed.

Peggy passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 11, 2021, at her home in Fridley, Minnesota, at the age of 67 years.

Peggy is survived by her children: Heather (Kent) Pilakowski, Jared (Julie) Kouri; seven grandchildren, Alex, Lucas, Mia, Devon, Max, Gino and Camden; sisters, Robyn (Tom) Rolighed and Becky (Brad) Van Binsbergen; many extended family, dear friends, and her sweet dog, Rosie. She was preceded in death by her maternal (Arne and Edith) and paternal grandparents (Oscar Sr. and Ida); parents, Oscar Jr. and Phyllis Waller; and brother, Tommy.
