Pearl lone (Goulson) Albin was born August 20, 1927, in Mandt Township of Chippewa County, Minnesota, to parents Theodore G. and Caroline (Myhre) Goulson. She was baptized and confirmed at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. Pearl married Erling C. Albin on August 25, 1957, at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. This marriage was blessed with a daughter Elaine. Pearl was a true homemaker, caring for her husband and daughter and working on their farm near Hazel Run, Minnesota. Pearl was active in her church, Hazel Run Lutheran, in many ways. She taught Sunday School for several years, was a member of the Ladies Aid and Altar Guild. She also was a Girl Scout leader. Pearl passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, Montevideo, Minnesota, after a courageous battle with cancer. She reached the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 9 days. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Erling; their daughter Elaine (and Randy) Craig of Fishers, Indiana; and granddaughter Whitney. She is also survived by siblings: Melvin (and Bernice) Goulson, Helge (and Alice) Goulson, Emma Zempel, and Gladys Zempel. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Bernt Goulson; sister Helen Iverson; nephews Dennis Zempel and Merlin Zempel; and brothers-in-law Harold Zempel and Clarence Zempel.
