Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Patrick William Haughie, son of Glenn and Marlys (Larson) Haughie of Pittsford, New York, formerly of Clarkfield, Minnesota. Patrick died suddenly during the early morning hours of July 6, 1973, on Giant Mountain, Essex County, New York, while camping with friends. Patrick was born December 18, 1964, in Boston, Massachussetts, and passed away July 6, 1973. He completed third grade at Thornell Road School, Pittsford, New York, where he excelled in academic, musical and athletic activities. He was a lover of nature, camping and fishing. Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Melinda Grace and Jill LaVerna; a brother, Peter; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Haughie of San Antonio, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Larson of Clarkfield; his maternal great grandmother, Emma Larson of Clarkfield; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
