Funeral services were held at the Lynner Funeral Home on Saturday, August 5, 1966, for Osmund Knutson, who passed away Thursday, August 4, 1966, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 82 years. Osmund Knutson, who spent most of his life as a farm laborer in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, was born January 8, 1884, in Stavanger, Norway to parents Knute and Sophie (Lillemo) Knutson. He came to America in 1903 at the age of 18. The past two years, he has been a resident at the Clarkfield Nursing Home. Monday evening, August 1, 1966, he was admitted to the Clarkfield Community Hospital, where he passed away on August 4, 1966, at the age of 82 years. He is survived by one sister in Tacoma, Washington. Mrs. Orley Miller served as organist while Mrs. Herbert Mauland rendered special music. Rev. C.M. Bagaason officiated. Final resting place is St. Lucas Lutheran Cemetery, Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota.
