Obituary

Oscar Henry Sandager was born October 13, 1898, in Friendship Township, rural Clarkfield, Minnesota. His parents were Ole and Guri (Berg) Sandager. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith at Spring Creek Lutheran Church and later in life was confirmed at the same church. Oscar attended Rural School District No. 28. He always enjoyed mechanic work. He was a life-long member of the Spring Creek Lutheran Church and served on the church council and the cemetery board. Oscar and his sister, Gladys, lived on their farm until they bought a home in Clarkfield. They both have now been residing at the Clarkfield Care Center. Oscar passed away on Saturday, August 14, 1993, at the Granite Falls Hospital at the age of 94 years. He is survived by his sister Gladys Sandager of the Clarkfield Care Center and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Guri Sandager. Blessed be his memory.
