Orvin Stensrud was born July 31, 1900, in Westerhiem Township, Lyon County, Minnesota, to Oscar and Anna (Broughton) Stensrud. He died at the Clarkfield Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, December 2, 1982, at the age of 82. Orvin lived in the Clarkfield and Minnesota area most of his life. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He married Bertha Efshen of Roseau, Minnesota. He farmed and did mechanic work until his retirement. He is survived by two brothers, Carl of Clarkfield and Marvin of Minneota, Minnesota and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, an infant daughter, one brother and four sisters.
