Orvin Junior Eye was born February 19, 1925, at the Eye farm home near Clarkfield, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at the Israel Lutheran Church. He attended school near and in Clarkfield and was graduated from high school with the class of 1943. After graduation, he did carpenter work prior to entering the Armed Forces and served during World War II. He attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis and since has been employed as a machinist, presently at Greson Mfg. Co. He was united in marriage to Ardys Pederson of Cottonwood, Minnesota, August 26, 1956, at Israel Lutheran Church by Rev. Calvin Berg. This union was blessed with four children: June, Betty, Burton and Julie. Since their marriage, the Eyes have made their home at New Brighton, Minnesota, where as a family they were members of Spring Lake Park Lutheran Church. Mr. Eye passed away August 9, 1968, in Renville County, Minnesota, the result of an automobile accident. Orvin was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Eye. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Ardys, and three daughters; three brothers: Alfred and Lewis of Clarkfield and Bennie of Clarion, Iowa; threee sisters: Anna and Laura of Clarkfield and Olga of Granite Falls, and a number of other relatives and friends.
