Orville A. Wallen, 64, died June 29, 1996 at the Canby Community Health Services. A memorial service for Orville was held Tuesday, July 2, 1996 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Chapel of Canby with Pastor Sy Soberg officiating. Organist was Karen Olson. Orville A. Wallen was born Nov. 21, 1931 to Orville and Mabel Wallen at Sacred Heart. He moved with his parents to a farm in Minneota when he was one year old. Orville lived there until 1963. The last 10 years he has lived at REM in Canby. He is survived by his brother Merlyn (and wife Delores) Wallen of Clarkfield and nieces Deborah Christensen and children of Marshall, Sandra (and Scott) Johnson and boys of Montevideo, and nephews Douglas (and Linda) Wallen and children of Clarkfield, and Glenn (and Karen) Wallen of St. Paul.
