Olof Lovsness was born March 8, 1876, near Cottonwood, Minnesota, in Lyon County, the son of Olaus and Ronnaug (Tollefson) Lovsness. He died July 1, 1951, at Russell Nursing Home, Willmar, Minnesota, at the age of 75 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
