Obituary

Oliver Palmer Iverson was born June 21, 1918 in Lisbon Township of rural Clarkfield to parents Olaf and Emma (Sorenson) Iverson. He was baptized at Bergen Lutheran Church on September 1, 1918. He was confirmed on October 8, 1932 at Bergen Lutheran Church by Pastor Haugland. Oliver married Irene Nelson at Bergen Lutheran Church on November 15, 1955. On June 7, 1980 he married Mary Ann Olson at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Oliver worked for 30 years for the Northwestern Railroad. He entered Luther Haven in Montevideo in 1993 and was a resident there until his death on Saturday, August 26, 1995 at the age of 77 years, 2 months, and 6 days. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann of Luther Haven and nephew Ordell Akre and wife Glenyce of Clarkfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Irene in 1979, and a sister, Ethel.
