Olive Fronsdahl was born September 1, 1929 to Olaf and Olava (Barstad) Fronsdahl. She was baptized at Christ (Silo) Lutheran Church in Cottonwood, MN. She was later confirmed at home because of illness. At about two years of age, she developed a serious illness, which left her severely handicapped and blind. Olive lived with her parents until 1972, when she and her mother became residents of the Nursing Home in Minneota, MN. In early 1974, she was moved to the Granite Manor, Granite Falls, MN where she resided for nearly 25 years. Olive passed away Sunday afternoon, December 7, 1997 at the Granite Manor reaching the age of 68 years, 3 months, and 7 days. She was intelligent and well versed, earning her G.E.D, at the Manor in later years. She is survived by only one first cousin and numerous distant cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
