Olger Holm, 89, died Saturday February 7, 1987, at the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 1987, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church with Pastor Gordon Trelstad officiating. Organist was Karen Donner with vocal music by Eleanor Roschen. Congregational Hymns were "Rock of Ages Cleft for Me" and "What a Friend We Have In Jesus." Casket Bearers were Bill Berg, Harold Berg, Hanford Christensen, Ray Miller, Harry Stokke and Emil West. Final Resting Place is the Clarkfield Lutheran Cemetery with Military Rites by the American Legion Post No. 169 of Clarkfield, Minnesota. He was born March 18, 1897 at Clarkfield, the son of Anton and Anna (Cornelius) Holm. He was baptized and confirmed at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. He lived in the Clarkfield area all his life and was engaged in farming. He worked for several neighbors and friends, helping wiih farming and chores. In 1941 he moved to Clarkfield with his parents. After several years he moved to the Clarkfield Care Center along with his sister Pauline, where he lived until the time of death. He was a kind and humble person and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He is survived by brother, Art of Granite Falls, Minnesota; sisters, Mrs. Emma (Alfred) Lee of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Pauline of Clarkfield; also many nieces and nephews.
