Mrs. Olga Raddohl was born at Sacred Heart, Minnesota, on April 22, 1898, to Christopher and Maren (Olson) Swenson, who came to the United States from Norway. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith by Pastor Optedahl. From Sacred Heart, she moved with her family to a farm north of Montevideo, Minnesota, and was confirmed at Buffalo Lake Church by Pastor Mortenson. She was united in marriage January 8, 1916, to Alfred Raddohl. The couple resided on a farm at Rock Lake, North Dakota, for a year before moving to the Montevideo vicinity for three years and then to their farm north of Hazel Run where they have spent the past fifty years. Olga passed away suddenly on Thursday morning, June 25, 1970, at Clarkfield Community Hospital at the age of 72 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Gordon and eleven brothers and sisters and her parents. She leaves to mourn her husband, Alfred; a daughter, Berdella (Mrs. Vernon Rupp) of Clarkfield, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two sisters: Olive (Mrs. Martin Hauser) of White Fish, Montana, and Selma (Mrs. George Beckman) of Montevideo, Minnesota; two brothers: Christ Swenson of Sebeka, Minnesota, and Magnus Swenson of Montevideo, Minnesota; and a host of other relatives and friends.
