Olga Hennen, 76, died Saturday, September 20, 1986, at the Madison Luthern Home, Madison, Minnesota. She died from cancer. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 23, 1986, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd, Minnesota, with Pastor Jeff Swanson officiating. Mrs. Arvid Rikke was soloist with Mrs. Minnie Hermanson as organist. Casket Bearers were Rory Hennen, Scott Hennen, Craig Larson, Bradley Larson, Rodney Bruflat and Timothy Falkum. Final Resting Place is the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Boyd, Minnesota. She was born February 9, 1910, to Paul and Olina (Dahl) Johnson at Boyd. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and attended school in Boyd, graduating as valedictorian of her class. She married Oscar Hennen and they had four children. She served in many areas in public life including at the Boyd Bulletin, Eckhardt's Grocery store, Gordon's Store, Bookkeeper at the Farmers Elevator and Village Clerk for 20 years. She is survived by daughters Blanche Lynne of Clarkfield, Minnesota, JoAnn and Ronald Larson of New Hope, Minnesota; son Ronald and Marlys Hennen of New Ulm, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren including Barbara Bruflat of Clarkfield, Craig Larson of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Nancy Sturlaugson of Glendale, Arizona, Brad Larson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Rory Hennen of Centralia, Washington, Jan Falkum of Gaylord, Minnesota, Mike Larson of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Jody Sanders of Dubuque, Iowa, Scott Hennen of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, Brian Hennen of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and Wendy Larson of St. Cloud, Minnesota; 11 great grandchildren; sisters Gladys Johnson of Dawson, Minnesota and Delores of Bloomington, Minnesota; and brother Ernest Johnson of Boyd. She was preceded in death by husband Oscar; a daugher; a granddaughter; a grandson; her parents; five brothers and two sisters. Arrangements by Lynner Funeral Home Since 1891 Clarkfield Minnesota
