Olga Louise Elizabeth Voss was born December 30, 1904, to parents August and Elizabeth (Kelm) Voss in Oshkosh Township near Canby, Minnesota. She was baptized at Nicolai Lutheran Church by Pastor P. Gedicki. In 1912, the family moved to a farm south of Boyd, Minnesota. She was confirmed May 29, 1919, at Zion Lutheran Church of Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, by Pastor B. Luttmann. Olga moved to Boyd, Minnesota, in October of 1969. While living there, she became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. In October of 1986 she moved to the Valhalla Apartments in Clarkfield, Minnesota, where she resided until her move to the Clarkfield Care Center in 1994. Olga passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2002, at the Care Center at the age of 97 years, 9 months and 6 days. She is survived by two nephews: Dennis (and Bertha) Voss of Litchfield, Minnesota, and David (and Karen) Voss of East Des Moines, Iowa; niece Agnes Voss of Clarkfield; many great nieces and nephews; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Anna (Mrs. George Nagel); brothers Helmer and Ewald; nephew Donald Voss; and great nephew Jeff Voss.
