Ole M. Peterson, son of Mads and Beate Enger was born on March 3, 1879, at Ostre Toten, Norway, where he was baptized and confirmed. On April 15, 1902, he was united in marriage to Stina Bakken of Ostre Toten, Norway, by Rev. R.S. Crosst. To this union nine children were born, one dying in infancy. After a lingering illness of about one year, he became critically ill on October 21, 1966, and was taken to the Clarkfield Memorial Hospital where he departed this life on October 28, 1966, at ten o'clock in the morning at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, his infant son, one sister and his parents. He is survived by eight children: Agnes (Mrs. Arnold Anderson) of Boyd, Minnesota, Melvin of Rapid City, South Dakota, Oscar of Boyd, Minnesota, Selma (Mrs. Clarence Johnson) of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, Henry of St. Paul, Minnesota, Martin of Seattle, Washington, Jennie (Mrs. Richard Erickson) of Minneapolis, and Arthur of New Berlin, Wisconsin; also one sister, Mrs. Julia Amundson of Dawson, Minnesota; one brother of Salmo, B.C., Canada. He also leaves to mourn 23 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson as well as many relatives and friends. IN MEMORY OF OLE M.
