Olaf Arthur Flaa was born March 29, 1907, to Martin O. and Marit (Remol) Flaa. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed on November 20, 1921, at United St. Petri Lutheran Church by the Rev. E.C. Eid. He was married to Ruby Lindblad of Dawson, Minnesota, on April 4, 1931. Three daughters were born to this union: Eleanore (Mrs. Willard Ingram) of Mission, Kansas, Ruth (Mrs. Marvin Collier) of Northfield, Minnesota, and Marlys (Mrs. Howard Mitling) of Minneapolis. He passed away January 22, 1973, of an apparent heart attack, at the age of 65 years. Mr. Flaa is survived by his wife, three daughters, three sons-in-law and nine grandchildren.
