Norman Kise, 89, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died Saturday, February 15, 1986, at the Clarkfield Care Center. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 1986, at St. Lucas Lutheran Church of Normania Township with Pastor John Christiansen officiating. Organist was Ann Stensrud with vocal solo by Pastor Christiansen. Casket Bearers were Archie Albertson, Floyd Hovdesven, Thurman Kompelien and Ordell Lovsness. Final Resting Place is the St. Lucas Lutheran Church Cemetery. He was born January 29, 1897, in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County to Johannes and Kristina (Vien) Kise. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at St. Lucas Lutheran Church. He spent his working years as an auto mechanic in both Cottonwood and Clarkfield. He retired at an early age due to health reasons. He spent many years at the Clarkfield Care Center. He is survived by nieces Hazel (Mrs. Arnold) Johnson of Excelsior, Minnesota; Violet (Mrs. Donald) Hanson of California; nephews James Rolstad of California and Palmer Kise of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Clara (Mrs. Harvey) Rolstad; and six brothers. Arrangements by Lynner Funeral Home Since 1891 Clarkfield Minnesota
