Nils M. Nilson was born April 30, 1872, in Norway, the son of Martin and Helene (Anderson) Nilson. He passed away December 14, 1956, at the Montevideo Hospital, Montevideo, Minnesota, at the age of 84 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma (Erickson) Nilson, in 1931. Mr. Nilson is survived by eleven children: Marriam, Lloyd, Alice and Harold at home, Irene (Mrs. Oliver Iverson), Ethel (Mrs. Dale Leenerts), Edith (Mrs. Chester Clauson), Anton and Everett, all married and living at Boyd, Minnesota, Mae (Mrs. Noel Strand) of Hopkins, Minnesota, and Gina (Mrs. LaVern Fanter) of Estherville, Iowa.
