Neila Darlene (Werner) Sawatzke (November 1, 1951 ~ May 8, 2012) Neila D. Sawatzke was born November 1, 1951, in Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. She was adopted by Arthur and Frances (Carlson) Werner in 1955. She grew up on the Werner family farm in Omro Township of Yellow Medicine County. She graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1969. Neila enjoyed woodworking, playing cards at Senior Citizen's and attending AA classes and brunches. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, wife and friend to all. She passed away at her home in Boyd, Minnesota, on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 7 days. She is survived by her children: daughter, Melissa (Bob) Wheeler of Twin Brooks, South Dakota, and son Kevin Richardson of Montevideo, Minnesota. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, foster brother, Tim (Werner) Blue and Ron Sawatzke. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Frances Werner.
