Neil Aldemore Larson was born June 9, 1913, at Hills, Minnesota, to parents Adolph and Ida (Green) Larson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He served in the United Stales Air Force for three years. Neil and Katherine Donahue were married in 1942. This marriage was blessed with two daughters: Mary and Elizabeth. Neil attended the Minneapolis School of Business and South Dakota State College and School of Pharmacy. He practiced for over 50 years in Tyler, Minnesota, and Clarkfield, Minnesota. Neil was a member of the American Legion, the Clarkfield Civic and Commerce, past member of the Clarkfield City Council, and was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association. He enjoyed fishing, boating, woodworking, and loved to grow roses. He passed away on Saturday evening, November 2, 2002, at the Glacier Ridge Hospital in Glenwood, Minnesota, at the age of 89 years, 4 months, and 24 days. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kay, of Clarkfield and daughters: Elizabeth of Clarkfield and Mary Larson-Gutman (and Randy) of Glenwood, Minnesota. He is also survived by granddaughter Gabrielle Larson-Gutman; grandson Luke Larson-Gutman; brother Wyvil Larson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sister and brother-in-law Ruby and Cal Garner of Edina, Minnesota; brother-in-law Don Gesme of Naples, Florida; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ray Larson. Blessed be his memory.
