Myrtle Ordina Willander was born December 29, 1906, in Mohall, North Dakota to Martin and Jennie (Satran) Peterson. Myrtle was baptized February 12, 1907, by Pastor Johan O. Wangberg and confirmed later by Pastor Meisell. On June 29, 1925, Albert Willander and Myrtle Peterson were joined in Holy Wedlock at Antler, North Dakota by Pastor Tollofson. They lived on a farm near Antler, North Dakota, for a number of years until moving to the Clarkfield, Minnesota Community. Albert passed away in August 1967 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where they had been residing. Myrtle made her home with her youngest daughter, Yvonne and Guy Johnson of Wyoming, Minnesota. Myrtle was taken seriously ill last June 1981 and after being hospitalized for six weeks was transferred to Innsbruck Health Care Center in Roseville, Minnesota, where she resided until she passed away Monday evening, March 29, 1982. Myrtle is survived by six daughters: Yvonne, Mrs. Guy L. Johnson, Wyoming, Minnesota; Vernona, Mrs. James Bjorklund, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Anita, Mrs. Gene Olson, Coon Rapids, Minnesota; Valerie, Mrs. John Feilen, Santee California; Maxine, Mrs. Melvin Marquardt, Williston, North Dakota; and Natalie, Mrs. Roy F. Schulz, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Myrtle is also survived by three sisters: Bernice, Mrs. Milton Jones, Ukiah, California; Dora, Mrs. Alvin Swanson, Velva, North Dakota; and Pearl, Mrs. Marvin Knutson, Mohall, North Dakota. Also 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and dad and one great grandchild.
