Obituary

Myrtle Dorothy Nilson, 72 of Boyd, died Saturday, January 4, 1986, at her home in Ten Mile Lake Township, Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota. Services were held Tuesday, January 7, 1986, 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd, Minnesota, with Rev. Jeff Swanson officiating. Final Resting Place is the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Boyd, Minnesota. She was born February 12, 1913, to Alfred and Ida (Nelson) Couet at Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 11 she moved to the Boyd community where she resided the rest of her life. On July 13, 1932, she was united in marriage to Lester Lynne at Montevideo, Minnesota. On May 30, 1954, she was united in marriage to Henry Larson at Granite Falls, Minnesota. On Nov. 25, 1961, she was united in marriage to Marriam Nilson at Montevideo, Minnesota. Myrtle was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd and active in the ALCW, especially enjoying their quilting projects. Minnie Hermanson was the organist and Ross Riecke the soloist at the service. Casket Bearers were Greg Christenson, Jeffrey Lynne, Bradley Lynne, David Wik, Charles Schultz, Jim Gunderson, Mark Wallert and Jon Kanten, all grandsons of Mrs. Nilson. She is survived by her husband Marriam; five children, Donald and Roger Lynne of Bloomington, Minnesota, Lois (Mrs. Gene) Christenson of Montevideo, Kenneth Lynne of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Alta (Mrs. James) Wik of Milan, Minnesota. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother, Adolph Couet of Granite Falls, Minnesota; and a sister, Loretta Harrison of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two brothers; and a granddaughter. Arrangements by Lynner Funeral Home Since 1891 Clarkfield Minnesota
