Myrtle Ruth Lusk Moen was born on April 13, 1908, in Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, to Hugh and Johanna (Moe) Lusk. She was baptized and confirmed at Lac qui Parle Lutheran Church. On March 27, 1927, whe was united in marriage to James Morris "Mike" Moen. Myrtle passed away on August 13, 1979, at Luther Haven, Montevideo, Minnesota, at the age of 71 years, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Mike; two children: Milo Moen and Janice (Mrs. Vernel Hermanson) both of Boyd, Minnesota; three sisters: Mrs. Ethel Finneman of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Glenda (Mrs. Ray Gruenwold) of Ortonville, Minnesota, and Helen (Mrs. Warner Sauer) of St. Cloud, Minnesota; two brothers: Art Lusk of Boyd, Minnesota, and Clarence Lusk of St. Cloud, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Stella (Mrs. Clarence Moen); and one brother, Kenneth.
