Myrna Catherine Beveridge was born April 13, 1919, at Appleton to William and Elizabeth (Morris) Beveridge. She attended country schools in the Appleton and Milan Minnesota area. She worked at the Olson Cafe of Appleton for a few years and then was employed at the Swift Corn Cannery in Montevideo and later at the Swift Creamery and Hatchery of Montevideo. She was first married on November 28, 1950 to Richard Miottel of Revillo, South Dakota. To this union was born a daughter, Rozella Miottel Smith. She was widowed in June of 1951. She was united in marriage to Harold F. Berg of rural Clarkfield, on the 10th of July, 1960, and lived on their farm southwest of Clarkfield. Myrna was called home to Jesus on January 1, 1993, at 3:15 a.m. at the Montevideo Hospital, after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband Harold and her daughter Rozella, and her husband George Smith of Belgrade, Minnesota; and her three granddaughters: Michealle and Vonnie Smith, Melanie Mueller; and one grandson Jeremey Smith. She is also survived by one great granddaughter Caitlin Moe Mueller; one brother, Warren Beveridge; one sister Mrs. Jeanette (George) Lange; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, first husband Richard, three brothers: Bill Beveridge of Portland, Oregon, Robert Beveridge of Hanover, Minnesota and Kenneth Beveridge of Mankato, Minnesota; and one sister, Charolotte Daun of Las Vegas, Nevada.
