Minnie Olson was born December 16, 1878, in Normania Township, the eldest daughter of Hans T. and Christiana (Johnson) Lundberg. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in the St. Lucas Lutheran Church of Normania Township. She was united in marriage to Alfred Olson of Clarkfield and the two spent their entire married life in Clarkfield. To this union, one son was born, Orand H. Olson of Granite Falls. Minnie was a member of the Clarkfield Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She was a charter member of the Clarkfield Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She passed away at the Granite Falls Hospital, Thursday morning, March 6, 1969, at the age of 90 years. She was a resident of the Granite Falls Manor the last three years. She is survived by her son, Orand H. Olson; two sisters: Thea J. Lundberg and Mrs. Hilda L. Pepper of Minneapolis; three nieces: Mrs. Hildred C. Afdem and Mrs. Gladys E. Kolbensvik of Granite Falls and Mrs. J.F. Oravec of Lansing, Michigan; two nephews: Orville H. Rollefson of Tacoma, Washington, and Jack K. Rollefson of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
