Obituary

Minnie Kopasek was born June 7, 1898, at Echo, Minnesota, daughter of Herman and Louise (Bendix) Meyer. She was baptized in 1902 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sibley Township, Gaylord, Minnesota and confirmed at American Lutheran Church, Echo, Minnesota. She passed away at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, Montevideo, Minnesota, August 30, 1987, at the age of 89 years, 2 months, 23 days. On August 31, 1920, she was married to James L. Kopasek who preceded her in death. She lived most of her life in the Echo, Granite Falls and Clarkfield Area. She is survived by children, Warren (wife Laura) of Lemon Grove, California; Robert (wife Claire) of Orangevale, California and Evelyn (husband Arden) Stenson of Clarkfield, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; sisters Selma Wold of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Burma Winkler of Eugene, Oregon and Mrs. Leona (Jacob) Meyer of Vesta, Minnesota; and three aunts. Preceding her in death were her husband; one son, Kenneth; parents; five brothers; and three sisters. Blessed be her memory.
