Minnie Pauline Iverson was born on May 23, 1882, in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the daughter of Paul and Maren Iverson. She was baptized by Rev. Lokensgaard and confirmed November 1, 1896, by Rev. Fjeldstad at Bergen Lutheran. On March 4, 1903, Minnie was united in marriage to Peder M. Anderson by Rev. Fjeldstad. She moved to the Anderson homestead where she resided ever since. To this union four children were born: Myrtle (Mrs. Martin Holum) of Minneapolis, Palma (Mrs. Oscar Moseng) of rural Boyd, Minnesota, Cordelia (Mrs. John Klosterboer) of rural Montevideo, Minnesota, and Menferd on the home farm. She also cared for an orphaned niece, Ida Lynne Fousek, who passed away October 29, 1958. Surviving her are her three daughters; one son; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one brother, Halvor of Madison, Minnesota; one half sister, Clara Torgerson of Montevideo; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away July 8, 1937; her parents; one sister and two brothers. Mrs. Anderson entered the Clarkfield Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 1962, and passed away the following morning at the age of 79 years. Minnie was a life long member of Bergen Lutheran Church and always an active member of the ladies aid. IN MEMORY OF MINNIE P.
