Minnie Stolldorf Dagel was born February 4, 1897, in Cheskawa, Illinois, to William and Mary (McKee) Storlldorf. She married Peter Dagel and they lived and farmed in the Hanley Falls, Minnesota area. To this union, seven children were born. Minnie passed away at the Granite Manor in Granite Falls, Minnesota, on Sunday, February 20, 1983, at the age of 86 years and 16 days. Minnie was prededed in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter and one son. She is survived by her sister, Esther Bates of Watertown, South Dakota; and her children: Jim Dagel of George Iowa, Emery Dagel of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Mrs. Lyle (Florence) Ulven of Clarkfield, Minnesota, Mrs. Delmont (Roszella) Dahl of Benson, Minnesota, and Mrs. Martin (Hattie) Schmidt of Wood Lake, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
