Minnie Pauline Thompson was born September 21, 1902 (rural Clarkfield) to parents Peder and Maren (Opsahl) Cornelius. Minnie was a graduate of Windom College at Montevideo, MN. Minnie married Clarence T. Thompson, of Milan, on July 16, 1927. They lived in Belfield, ND where they owned and operated a Hardware Store. Clarence passed away in 1953 and in 1958 Minnie moved to the Milan, MN area. She was a member of Kviteseid Lutheran Church. She entered the Frazee Care Center at Frazee, MN in 1980 and was a resident there until her death. She passed away on Friday, May 17, 1996 at the age of 93 years, 7 months, and 27 days. She is survived by three children: Darlene Jucker of Northridge, CA, Clarence C. (and Barbara) Thompson of Belfield, ND, and Marcy (and Jim) Miller of Audubon, MN. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence, and two grandsons and one great grandson.
