Milo Brusven was born January 13, 1928, to Arnold and Johanna (Hanson) Brusven in Marshall, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He attended country school and attended high school through 11th grade in Clarkfield. Milo married Velda Lou Christensen on June 8, 1952. They farmed for 48 years on the same place, surviving floods, droughts and tornadoes. He passed away September 16, 2007, at his residence in the Madison Apartments in Minneota, Minnesota, at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife Velda of Minneota, and his seven children: Mitcheal (Roberta) of Clarkfield, Randy (Candie) of Hazel Run, Wyatt (special friend Judy) of Boyd, Lorie (Terry) Day of Baker, Florida, Milo Paul (Brenda) of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, Kris (Marsha) of Cottonwood and Ina of Marshall, Minnesota; 16 grandchildren: Nathaniel (Katherine) Brusven, Michael Brusven, Tina and Judy Brusven, Sara George, Daniel (Kristi) Brusven, Jeremy (Colee) Day, Erica (Jeffery) Vierstraete, Tiffany Day, Joshua and Brianne Brusven, Zach, Cole, Leah and Racheal Brusven and Alexander Wojahn and eight great grandchildren: Isaiah Brusven, Matthew and Austin George, Alora and Brody Day, Makenzie and Austin Vierstraete and Kayla Day; siblings: Anton (Dorothy) Brusven, June Weaver, Ernest (Marilyn) Brusven and Sam (Kathleen) Brusven. He was preceded in death by his parents.
