Milburn Kermit Rogge was born February 11, 1909, at Boyd, Minnesota, to parents Henry and Clara (Koepp) Rogge. He was baptized by Pastor Hillgen and confirmed by Pastor Luttmann in the Lutheran faith at Zion Lutheran Church, Tyro Township, Boyd, Minnesota. On May 6, 1936, he was married to Myrtle Irene Sommerfeld of Boyd at St. John's Lutheran Church, Omro Township, by Pastor Fuerstenau. To this union three children were born. Milburn passed away at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hsopital on Wednesday evening, September 7, 1977, at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife Myrtle; children: Curtis, Ordell and JaNet; two daughters-in-law; and five grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Clara Rogge; brothers Lawrence and Elmer Rogge; and sister Ada Weeks.
