Mickey Ray Viessman was born August 30, 1967 in Primghar, Iowa to Clifford and Rose (Wajer) Viessman. Mickey moved with his parents and brothers and sisters to Clarkfield, Minnesota in 1970. He was baptized on May 10, 1970. He was confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Clarkfield. Mickey graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1986 and started working in the family business. Mickey married Sandra Meyer on April 11, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the Christ United Presbyterian Church of Marshall, Minnesota. Mickey enjoyed being with his wife and children. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time with his friends. He passed away on Tuesday evening, May 27, 1997 near Balaton, Minnesota, as the result of an automobile accident. Mickey is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Meyer) Viessman and their four children, Josie, Mickey, Spencer, and Hayley all of Marshall and his parents Clifford and Rose Viessman of Watson, Minnesota, and Sandy's parents Bill and Thelma Meyer of Marshall. Also surviving are brothers Wayne (and Angie), David (and Lorrie), Terry (and Annette) of Dawson, Minnesota, Douglas (and Darlene) of North Mankato, Minnesota, Randy (and Cindi) of Marshall, and Alan (and Karla) of Watson; sisters Linda (Jerome) Kosbab of Zimmerman, Minnesota, Barbara (and Mike) Jorgenson of Clarkfield, and Sandra (and Gary) Nelson of Dawson; half-brother Rodney (and Tierney) Viessman of Paynesville, Minnesota; brother-in-law Jason (and April) Meyer of Ivanhoe, Minnesota; sisters-in-law Kim (and Mike) Dupere of Montevideo, Minnesota, Michele (and Troy) Mead of Willmar, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews, great nephew and nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one nephew.
