Menferd Palmer Anderson, 58, passed away Friday, October 28, 1983, at his farm home. Menferd Anderson was born December 11, 1914, in Lisbon Township to Peder and Minnie (Iverson) Anderson. On April 29, 1945, he was united in marriage to Marcella Kolstad of Montevideo, Minnesota. He lived on the home farm his entire life. Preceding him in death were his son, Merle in November, 1969; his parents; and one sister, Myrtle. He is survived by his wife, Marcella; son, Bruce, daughter-in-law Lisa and granddaughter Amber Jean; two sisters Palma (Mrs. Oscar Moseng) Dawson, Minnesota, and Cordelia (Mrs. John Klosterboer) Montevideo, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
