Melvin Arnold Gudahl was born June 7, 1901, at Rake, Iowa, to parents John and Ingeborg (Erdahl) Gudahl. He was baptized and confirmed at Dell Lutheran Church near Frost, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Mabel Nelson on January 1, 1936. He passed away August 21, 1979, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, Mabel; his two children, Mary (Mrs. John Enemark) of Tucson, Arizona, and David of Eagan, Minnesota; three grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother. He was engaged in farming his entire lifetime, moving to Russell, Minnesota, in 1939, then to Boyd, Minnesota, in 1946, where he resided until his death. IN MEMORY OF MELVIN A.
