Mathilda Anna Rysdahl, 95, of Clarkfield,Minnesota, died Wednesday, January 23, 1985, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 1985, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church with Pastor Gordon Trelstad officiating. Organist was Mrs. Annette Patel with vocal music by Mrs. Lyle Roschen. Casket Bearers were Deborah Christiansen, Sandra Wallen, Paul Rysdahl, Wayne Rysdahl, Kevin Rysdahl, and Kelvin Rysdahl. Final Resting Place is the Clarkfield Lutheran Church Cemetery, Clarkfield, Minnesota. She was born November 6, 1889, to Anders and Marie (Eide) Rysdahl on a farm in Friendship Township, Yellow Mediciine County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. She was a lifelong member. She graduated from Clarkfield High and taught school in District 88 and Gliam Schools for 14 years from 1910 to 1924. She clerked at Grinagers Store and was an aide at the hospital in Clarkfield for 24 years. In 1928 she and her parents moved into town. She took care of them as long as they lived. She has been a resident of Clarkfield's Care Center for the past two years. She is survived by sister, Louise Hagren of Fairbault, Minnesota; brother, Lewis and sister-in-law Judith Rysdahl of Clarkfield; plus nine nephews and nieces.
