Mary Dorothy Eschen was born March 26, 1911 at Latham, Illinois to parents Wesley and Grace (Alexandria) Wilson. She was baptized on June 21, 1911 at Lathem, Illinois and later, as a young girl, was confirmed. Mary was united in marriage to Lloyd Eschen on October 7, 1933 at Lake Benton, Minnesota. Twin boys were blessed to this marriage: Dwane and Lloyd. Mary and Lloyd lived in Granite Falls, MN until 1960 when they moved to Boyd. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aide and the Boyd Senior Citizens. Mary passed away early Monday morning, October 14, 1996 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 19 days. She is survived by her sons: Lloyd of Boyd, MN and Dwane (and Loretta) of Clarkfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, brother Howard Wilson of Nunda, SD and sister Helen Fader of St. Cloud. MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd, daughter-in-law, Carol Eschen, grandson Scott Eschen, and brother Woodrow Wilson.
