Mary Marie Laux was born October 15, 1966, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, to parents Eldred and Rita (Roder) Laux. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Isidores Catholic Church of Clarkfield. Mary lived in Clarkfield with her parents and brother David. She graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1985. Following graduation, she moved to Willmar, Minnesota, and begin working for West Central Industries. She became a resident of Crow's Nest of Willmar about five years ago and continued to work for West Central Industries (Kandiyohi Recycling) and Gurley's Candy Co. Mary enjoyed bowling, talking on the telephone, bingo, and watching sports events, especially wrestling. She was attending St. Mary's Catholic Church in Willmar. Mary and David were on their way to Clarkfield when they were involved in an automobile accident south of Raymond, Minnesota, on Friday, October 7, 2005. Mary passed away at the accident at the age of 38 years, 11 months, and 23 days. She is survived by her parents, Eldred and Rita of Clarkfield and her brother David of Willmar. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Herman and Delia Roder and Eldred and Magdeline Laux; her aunts: Carol Nehring and Inez Zaun; and uncles: Lyle Zaun and Emmit and Ernest Roder; and her cousin Jon Lanphear.
