Marvin Hardel was born May 29, 1919, In Arlington, Minnesota, to his parents, Fred and Helen Hardel. He was baptized in the Lutheran Faith at Arlington and confirmed in the German Lutheran Church of Wood Lake, Minnesota. Marvin served his country in the Army during World War II. On November 12, 1955, he was united in marriage to Esther (Anderson) Lindblad at Hanley Falls, Minnesota. Marvin was a Machinist and an avid sportsman who enjoyed baseball and fishing. He was a member of the Hanley Falls American Legion and of the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church of Hanley Falls. Marvin passed away at the Methodist Hospital of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, on Saturday, December 30, 1989, at the age of 70. Marvin is survived by his wife, Esther of Hanley Falls; step
