Martin Noren Albeck was born April 26, 1914, in Hazel Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Nils and Martina (Tollefson) Albeck. He lived his entire life in the Hanley Falls community where he farmed the home farm. He was united in marriage to Helen Stokke of Normania Township. To this union three children were born: Douglas, Kurt and RaNae. He was employed at Rodgers Hydraulics in Granite Falls for a period of ten years prior to his illness. He passed away at his home Sunday evening, May 21, 1978, at the age of 64 years. Survivors are his wife Helen; son Douglas and daughter-in-law Betty, grandchildren Julie and Ryan of Mound, Minnesota; son Kurt and daughter-in-law Jane and grandson Jason of Minneapolis; daughter RaNae and son-in-law Robert Thompson of Hazel Run; brother Enock of Hanley Falls; sister Ella Schueler of Chisago City, Minnesota; and sister-in-law Ida Albeck of St. Paul.
