Martha Olina Hoiland was born in Lyon County, Minnesota, the daughter of Christen C. and Bertha (Bakken) Ulfseth. She was united in marriage to Alfred T. Hoiland, who preceded her in death August 7, 1953. Mrs. Hoiland passed away Saturday, March 7, 1964, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 82 years. She had been cared for by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Telmor Hoiland. Mrs. Hoiland is survived by six children: Clarence, Arden, Merton, Mrs. Clenora Dahl, Muriel (Mrs. Henry Vinnece), and Telmor.
