Martha (Marcie) Kathleen Reishus, 61, of rural Wood Lake, Minnesota, died Wednesday, February 13, 1985, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 16, 1985, at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls, Minnesota, with Rev. H. Norman Schey officiating. Colleen Hewitt was organist and Mavis Ellingson soloist. Casket Bearers were Vernon Engel, Elmer Jarcho, Gene Oftedahl, Roger Olson, Hove Sumner and Gib Thostenson. Final Resting Place is the East Yellow Medicine Cemetery, Hanley Falls, Minnesota. She was born March 24, 1923, at Whapeton, North Dakota, to Joseph and Ellai (Odell) Dietz. After high school she attended North Dakota School of Science at Wahpeton and the School of Cosmetology at Fargo, North Dakota, after which she worked as a beautician in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. She married Sondre Reishus on October 26, 1946, in Minneapolis. They farmed in Wood Lake Township for 39 years. She was a member of the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church Women and American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by husband Sondre of rural Wood Lake; sons , Mark and wife Zee Anne of rural Wood Lake and Todd and wife Vicki of Granite Falls, Minnesota; grandsons Nicholas, Brandon and Tony; brother Robert Dietz and wife Dayle of Wahpeton, North Dakota; plus nieces and nephews.
