Obituary

Marriam Adelbert Nilson, 75, of Boyd, Minnesota, died Monday night, June 9, 1986, at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 1986, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd with Pastor Jeff Swanson officiating. Organist was Vernon Stevens, soloist Ross Riecke. Casket Bearers were Greg Christenson, Jeffrey Lynne, Bradley Lynne, David Wik, Larry Nilson, Michael Clausen and Robby Leenerts. Final Resting Place is Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Marriam Adelbert Nilson was born February 16, 1911, to Nils and Alma (Erickson) Nilson at Brook Park, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at Brook Park. In 1926 he moved to the Boyd community where he worked as a farm helper until going to work for the Railroad until retirement. On November 25, 1961, he married Myrtle (Lynne) Larson at Montevideo, Minnesota. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd. Survivors include step-children, Donald and Roger of Bloomington, Minnesota, Lois (Mrs. Gene) Christenson of Montevideo, Kennth Lynne of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Alta (Mrs. James) Wik of Milan, Minnesota; 11 step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; sisters Alice Nilson and Ethel Leenerts of Boyd and Mae Strand of Chaska, Minnesota; and brothers Lloyd and Anton Nilson of Boyd. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle in 1986; his parents; three sisters; two brothers and a step-granddaughter. Arrangements by Lynner Funeral Home Since 1891 Clarkfield Minnesota
