Funeral Services were held for Marjorie Rupp, 63, on Thursday evening, June 21, 1990, 7:00 p.m., Werness Brothers Chapel, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with Father Austin Ward of St. Leonard's parish officiating. Organist was Mrs. Jan Lindquist. Commital Services were held on Friday, June 22, 1990, at St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery of rural Granite Falls, Minnesota. Honorary Casket Bearers were Ron, John, Gene, Ken, David, Jerry and Steven Rupp. Arrangements were by the Werness Brothers Funeral Home, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Lynner Funeral Home of Clarkfield, Minnesota. Marjorie Isabell Rupp was born on March 14, 1927, to Herman and Maggie (Thiel) Rupp on the Farm in Hazel Run Township. She attended rural school in District 72, known as the West School, and at the Faribault School for the Blind. She was employed by the Minneapolis Society for the Blind. Marjorie passed away at Nicollet Health Care Center in Minneapolis on Monday, June 18, 1990. Surviving her are her two daughters, Gayle Rupp of Minneapolis and Rita Parsons and husband, Bob, of Minnetonka, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Alex Rupp, Lauren and Jeffery Parsons; two sisters, Marie Ernston and Dorothy Rude, both of Minneapolis; and one brother, Glen Rupp and wife Irene, Granite Falls and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Vernon Rupp of Hazel Run; and one brother-in-law, Clarence Monson of Granite Falls. Majorie was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mildred Monson, and five brothers, Elmer, Kenneth, Hermy, Vincent and Vernon.
