Marjorie E. (Harris) Kreisel was born February 27, 1910, at Ft. Dodge, Iowa to parents Walter and Evelyn (Brower) Harris. At the age of 11 years, she moved with her parents and siblings to Boyd, Minnesota. Marjorie attended Boyd School. Marjorie and Clarence C. Kreisel were married on the Harris farm on October 16, 1937. A son, Paul, was born to this union. Clarence and Marjorie lived in Boyd for many years. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and visiting. She especially enjoyed working at Redeemer Church and with the Ladies Aid. Marjorie entered the Madison Lutheran Home in 1994. She passed away on Saturday morning, May 15, 1999, at the age of 89 years, 2 months, and 19 days. She is survived by her son, Paul (and Edie) Kreisel of Evelth, Minnesota; sister Marian and brother Levi of Boyd; and sister Virginia of Babbett, Minnesota, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence in 1989, sister Vivian, brother Myron, nephew Glen Fierstine, and brother-in-law, Ray Fierstine.
