Marjorie Joan Drange was born March 15, 1933, in Hazel Run, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Marit (Johnson) Drange. She was baptized by Rev. A. Haugland. She attended the public school in Hazel Run and Clarkfield High School from which she graduated in 1951. She was confirmed by Rev. J.E.H. Akre in Hazel Run Lutheran Church. She was very proficient in music in recognition of which she received a four-year scholarship from MacPhail School of Music. She was to have graduated in June. She sang for a time with the Central Lutheran Church Choir. Her passing is mourned by her parents, two brothers, Julian of Hazel Run and Allen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and many other relatives and friends. Marjorie was always interested in music and was willing to take part in programs and church services. She was a cheerful and friendly girl who will be missed very much by all who knew her.
